“So, she knocked on the door of the first house where she thought she would enjoy living, and when they asked her what she could do, she simply told the truth: “I dream.””
From an editing suite high in the Serra da Mantiqueira, just a few hours from São Paulo, in Brazil, I help creators from around the world bring their films, series, and art projects to life. By cutting and weaving together sounds and images, we craft stories of real people and imagined worlds. Here, I welcome anyone who wishes to finalize their projects in a rural setting, away from the noise of the city, yet equipped with excellent internet and everything needed for high-quality productions. When necessary, I can also travel to other cities and countries, in addition to working primarily remotely. I work in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish.

"Ocupa SP" is an invitation to rethink our relationship with the city of São Paulo, a vibrant and complex metropolis, but also marked by inequalities and segregation. This film takes us on a journey through the stories of resistance and struggle of marginalized groups, highlighting their voices and their daily battles for the legitimate occupation of urban space. From the colorful streets of Jardim da União to the community garden of the GAU Women, from the warm theater of Cia Mungunzá to the preserved ancestry in Pico do Jaraguá, we are invited to witness the strength and resilience of these communities. Each scene, each story, reminds us of the richness of diversity and the need to build a more inclusive and just city for everyone. "Ocupa SP" is more than a film, it is a call to action, an inspiration to dream and fight for a future where everyone has the right to occupy and thrive in the city we call home.
